The Tandberg StorageLibrary T80+ Series incorporates the new Pass-Thru feature, allowing you to add additional drives and storage capacity as and when you need it. The Pass-Thru feature will allow up to three T40+ units to be stacked together in a 19” rack configuration.

The Tandberg StorageLibrary T80+ tape library is a professional backup and data protection solution, providing maximum performance and scalable capacities.
The Tandberg StorageLibrary T80+ incorporates the new Pass-Thru feature, allowing you to add additional drives and storage capacity as and when you need it. With the Pass-Thru feature, customers can initially purchase one T40+ unit, add a second unit when required, and create a StorageLibrary T80+.
The T80+ base unit is available with 77 slots. The base unit can be installed fully with up to 8 half height LTO drives or 4 full height LTO drives and full supports LVD SCSI, Native Fibre Channel and SAS connectivity.
The T80+ is designed to improve efficiency and minimize IT downtime. The Performance on Demand (POD) feature allows you to add additional drives or upgrade to the next LTO generation, increasing your library’s performance and capacity. The Web browser-based remote management interface allows you to monitor, control, configure and diagnose problems from anywhere in the world. The T80+ supports system monitoring via SNMP. It also supports SMTP, and will immediately send an e-mail on any error.
The T80+ is supplied with redudant power supplies per T40+ unit. The second power supply provides redundancy for mission critical operations and avoids power interruption to the library. Both power supplies share the load under normal operating conditions. However, if one of the power supplies fails, the other will assume the full load. Media Compatibility
The Tandberg StorageLibrary T80+ is compatible with industry standard, multi-sourced LTO media. To achieve the best reliability, Tandberg LTO branded and qualified data cartridges are recommended.
